Who we are

Midnight Sun Labs LLC ("we", "us", "our") operates GameServerBot, an AI-powered Discord bot and game-server hosting service. Questions about this policy can be sent to support@midnightsunlabs.com.

Data we collect

We collect the following categories of data when you use GameServerBot:

• Discord identity: your Discord user ID and the servers (guilds) you use the bot in.
• Message content: the messages you direct at the bot (mentions and slash commands) so it can understand and respond to your requests. We do not read your general server messages — only those addressed to the bot.
• Command usage: which features you use and when, for reliability and improvement purposes.
• Subscription & billing details: processed via Stripe. We store your subscription status and plan, but we never store your card number or full payment details — those stay with Stripe.
• Game-server world data: save files and world data for game servers you run through GameServerBot, stored in Amazon S3.
• Moderation and audit logs: records of moderation actions taken in your server (kicks, bans, warnings) for accountability and appeal purposes.
• Violation records: when our content rules are triggered (e.g. prohibited content), we log a limited record of the incident. These auto-expire after 90 days unless retained longer for fraud or chargeback evidence.

How we use your data

• To operate the bot and hosting service and respond to your requests.
• To process AI replies via the Claude AI service (Anthropic).
• To bill subscriptions and manage your account.
• To enforce our Terms of Service and content rules.
• To improve the service — understanding which features are used and fixing bugs.

Third-party processors

We share data with the following services solely to provide GameServerBot. Each is a processor acting on our behalf:

• Anthropic — Claude AI. Messages you send the bot are sent to Anthropic's API to generate replies. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to their handling of that data.
• Stripe — payment processing. Stripe handles all card data; we receive only subscription status and metadata.
• Discord — the platform the bot runs on. Your use of Discord is also governed by Discord's own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) — compute, database, and storage infrastructure for the bot and game-server hosting.

We do not sell your data or use third-party ad tracking.

Cookies and sessions

When you sign in on this website using Discord OAuth, we set a signed session cookie (JWT) that identifies your logged-in session. This cookie is essential for the account page to function; it is not used for advertising. We do not use third-party tracking or analytics cookies.

Data retention

• Account and subscription data is kept while your account is active.
• Game-server worlds are retained even after you cancel so you can resubscribe and continue where you left off. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
• Violation records auto-expire after 90 days. Records tied to fraud or chargeback disputes may be kept longer as required.
• You can request deletion of your data by emailing support@midnightsunlabs.com.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email us at support@midnightsunlabs.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

Children

GameServerBot is not directed to children under 13. You must meet Discord's minimum age requirement (13 in most regions, or higher where local law requires) to use this service. If you believe a child has provided us data without parental consent, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this site or in our Discord server. Continued use of GameServerBot after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
